TPI Working & Advisory Groups
2009-2010 TPI WORKING GROUPS
The focal point of membership involvement is through "Open Forum Roundtables" held at every TPI meeting. Members of all classes are encouraged to participate in open discussions of identified topics in order to address their concerns and develop meaningful answers. TPI Board, and staff serve as facilitators at each discussion table and report the group’s findings and/or recommendations to the full Board. At its discretion, the Board may direct a matter to the staff for implementation, create a Task Force for further review or it may create a Working Group to address the issue. Task Forces and Working Groups disband upon completion of their specific assignment, unless otherwise determined by the Board or members. Some Working Groups will have long-term objectives that necessitate their continued existence.
