About Turfgrass Research and The Lawn Institute Foundation:

The Lawn Institute Logo Cropped.jpgIn 1955, The Lawn Institute was created as a not-for-profit corporation to assist in and encourage through research and education the improvement of lawns and sports turf. Since then, The Lawn Institute has been one of the most respected authorities in North America among turf professionals and scientists for monitoring, reporting, and interpreting the latest advances in turfgrass research, landscape horticulture, and agronomic science.

The Lawn Institute Foundation assists leaders in the scientific community as they investigate and develop answers to perplexing questions in the areas of agronomy, economics, engineering, environment and market research. Over $1,000,000 has been funded in turfgrass research programs to benefit the industry by TPI members and supporters.

Just as TPI focuses on the present needs of the turfgrass sod production industry, The Lawn Institute will ensure and protect the future.  Continued industry support makes the activities of the Foundation possible.

By contributing to The Lawn Institute you are:
• Investing in the future of the turfgrass industry
• Increasing understanding of and appreciation for turfgrass sod benefits by consumers
• Taking a pro-active stance to ensure the future success of your business

The Lawn Institute is designated a 501(c)3 non-profit organization and as such, contributions are tax deductible as provided by U.S. law. Outside the U.S. contributions may be viewed as a business expense. Consult your financial advisor about the tax implications of your donation.
